Infant/Toddler Teacher

At Muse Academy, we're looking for passionate people to join an awesome team of early childhood educators. We're searching for Infant/Toddler Teachers who are ready to take on a brand new child care adventure.

We’re looking for someone who…

Can provide a fun, safe and comfortable environment for all children to develop and learn in, this includes the outdoor environment.
Has knowledge of milestones that need to be meet for age group you are working with.
Will complete observation notes of each child assigned to you.
Will meet with parents to discuss child’s growth and development, building strong partnerships to support families.
Is a great team-player and is willing to get involved, support the whole team, cover different classrooms and share ideas.

So if you...

Have a High School Diploma or General Education Diploma.
Hold and maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
Have a minimum of 2-year experience with children from birth to 5 years old, or school age in a home or preschool setting, with six months of experience in a licensed infant care center or comparable group childcare program for children under five years of age.
Completed at least 12 units of early childhood development or childhood education units including; Child/Human Growth and Development, Child, Family and Community, Program/Curriculum and Other; Infant, School-age, etc. Plus at least 3 units in infant courses.
Have a current permit or in the process of receiving the permit from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Of course, you'll also need a Full Background Check!

✅Can lift and carry 40 lbs.

✅Have a current permit or are in the process of receiving the permit from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

✅Must have proof of immunizations (Pertussis, Measles, Influenza or signed declaration declining vaccine) or provide proof within 1 week of the start date.

✅Attend a minimum of 6 hours of continuing education, seminars/workshops each school year.
