The Muse Academy prides itself on our team of professional, qualified, and experienced mentors and staff. Together our staff at The Muse Academy have over 105 years of Early Childhood Education in combined experience. We share mutual respect, love, and passion for teaching our children and helping them reach their developmental milestones.
All our staff members undergo a strict hiring process which includes background checks, personal interviews, and work references. As such, they must also undergo extensive orientation and training to ensure that they can effectively and successfully meet our goals in our daycare.
Throughout the year, staff are also required to attend continuing education seminars and training in regards to best practices and curriculum planning.
Ms. Brianna - CEO/President
Ms.Brianna started The Muse Academy in 2018 out of a desire to provide a high-quality preschool environment that could be accessible to students no matter their financial background. Ms.Brianna is a product of subsidized childcare, participating in programs such as Crystal Stairs until she attended public school.
Understanding that many low-income families look to subsidized programs to aid with the financial burden of childcare, Ms.Brianna wanted to ensure that these children could access the same, if not better, quality of childcare that children of more affluent communities could access. While The Muse Academy aims to ensure that children from low-income families have access to quality childcare, it proudly serves children from all financial backgrounds.
Ms. Maile - Director
Ms. Maile is the director of The Muse Academy. She has been working in the Child Development field for over 20 years, spending the first 15 years of her career in the classroom as a teacher and lead teacher.
Ms. Maile is also the founder of Just Believe, a company that provides workshops and training to other child development professionals. Just Believe was created from a passion for wanting children from all walks of life to have quality care and education.
"As the director, my door will always be open. My desire to enrich and enhance our children as a whole being requires a commitment to always stay abreast of the best practices in Early Childhood Education, as well as being a role model for the staff here at The Muse Academy."
